Just the time, and nothing else fighting for your attention. This minimalist Pomodoro timer uses a quiet display with thin digits and a hairline progress bar. Press Z for zen mode and even the buttons disappear while you focus. Everything else, from tasks to sounds and stats, waits one click away in the toolbar when you actually need it.
Less on the screen, more in your head
Every element on a screen competes for attention, even a friendly one. A minimal timer removes that noise: the only moving thing is the time, and it moves slowly. It is the digital version of a clean desk, and it pairs well with the Pomodoro rule of working on one single task.
Minimal doesn't mean limited. The timer still runs the full Pomodoro cycle, keeps exact time in background tabs, rings a soft alarm and records your sessions. You simply don't see any of it until you want to.
Make it even quieter
- Zen mode (Z): hides the header, the meta row and the quotes while a session runs. Turn on "Hide everything while focusing" in the settings to do it automatically.
- Fullscreen (F): the toolbar fades after a few seconds without mouse movement.
- Mono palette: black and white, no accent colour at all.
- Quotes and break ideas can be switched off in the settings.
- A soft ticking sound, or silence, instead of music.
How the Pomodoro timer works
Four simple steps. No account, nothing to install: it runs right here in your browser.
- 11
Pick what to work on
Add a task and estimate how many pomodoros it needs. The active task is credited automatically when a session ends.
- 22
Start the timer
Press Start (or the Space bar) and give the task your full attention until the bell rings.
- 33
Take a real break
Step away from the screen for 5 minutes. Stretch, drink some water, rest your eyes.
- 44
Repeat, then rest longer
After four pomodoros, take a longer 15–30 minute break. Your stats and streak update on their own.

Pomodoro, Flowtime & countdowns
Classic 25/5, 50/10 or your own durations, a count-up Flowtime mode and simple countdowns, exact even in background tabs.
