Aesthetic Pomodoro timer

Focus
25:00

Studying goes better in a space you like. This aesthetic Pomodoro timer lets you set the scene: a flower field, deep space or a soft aurora, falling sakura petals or snow, your own photo in the background, lofi radio and rain on the window. Then it does the serious part for you: 25-minute focus sessions, breaks, tasks and a streak to keep.

Build your cozy study setup

  1. 1Pick a sceneOpen the Scene panel: photos, animated backgrounds, or upload your own picture. It never leaves your device.
  2. 2Add an ambient effectSakura petals, snow, rain, fireflies, twinkling stars, autumn leaves or soft bokeh drift over the background.
  3. 3Choose your coloursFive palettes, light or dark mode, or any colour you like with the custom palette.
  4. 4Pick a clockThe classic dial, a retro flip clock, a minimal display or a kitchen timer.
  5. 5Press play on the vibesLofi radio, calm focus music, rain, café or forest sounds, or your own Spotify playlist.

Why a beautiful timer helps you focus

It is not just about looks. A consistent setup works like a ritual: the same scene, the same music and the same clock tell your brain it is time to work, which makes starting easier. Study-with-me videos use exactly this trick, and a timer you enjoy opening is a timer you actually use.

The design also stays out of your way. During a focus session, zen mode hides everything except the time, and the interface fades in fullscreen. Animated scenes pause when the tab is hidden to save battery, and every effect respects your device's reduced-motion setting.

Cute, but serious about productivity

  • Tasks with pomodoro estimates, notes, subtasks and projects.
  • A daily goal, streaks, levels, daily quests and 100+ badges to collect.
  • Stats with charts, a year heatmap and your time per project.
  • A floating mini timer that stays on top of your other windows.
  • Works offline once installed, on desktop, tablet and phone.

How the Pomodoro timer works

Four simple steps. No account, nothing to install: it runs right here in your browser.

  1. 11

    Pick what to work on

Add a task and estimate how many pomodoros it needs. The active task is credited automatically when a session ends.

  2. 22

    Start the timer

Press Start (or the Space bar) and give the task your full attention until the bell rings.

  3. 33

    Take a real break

Step away from the screen for 5 minutes. Stretch, drink some water, rest your eyes.

  4. 44

    Repeat, then rest longer

After four pomodoros, take a longer 15–30 minute break. Your stats and streak update on their own.

Everything you need to focus. Nothing you don't.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own picture as the timer background?

Yes. Open the Scene panel and choose "Your photo" to upload an image. It is stored only in your browser and never uploaded.

Does this aesthetic timer have lofi music?

Yes. The Sounds panel includes live lofi radios, calm focus tracks, ambient layers like rain and café, and a Spotify player for your own playlists.

Will the animated background slow down my computer?

The scenes are light, and they pause automatically when the tab is hidden. On an older laptop, choose a photo scene and a simple effect like snow, or turn effects off.
